2017 NCRRL Year-End Tournament

Starting with the 2016-2017 season, the NCRRL has changed its end of season format from an “elimination / playoff / championship” format to a “year-end tournament”. This change was discussed and agreed to by the presidents of all associations in Eastern Region.


The City of Ottawa Ringette Association (CORA) has stepped forward to host the inaugural 2017 tournament and we are very excited about this new tournament which replaces our annual tournament (previously held in December every year). We are looking forward to the support of all associations in making this a memorable event for our Regional teams.  



Friday, March 24th - Sunday, March 26th 2017

Opening Ceremonies will be held during the weekend - dates and times to be determined.

Nepean Sportsplex



Registration will be done through Score to Stats.  

The tournament fee is $540.  Cheques should be made payable to CORA  c/o Theresa Campbell.  Information on Score to Stats.    


Other Details

All eligible teams are expected to participate. This ensures sufficient teams for each division and that all players get to experience this championship celebration. For clarification please contact your association president.

 Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

 Medals will be awarded to the top 2 teams from each division

 This will be an ORA sanctioned event and regular tournament rules will apply. This includes ORA Substitution rules where no player can play for more than one team at the tournament

 Each year a different association will provide a theme and design a logo. The 2017 logo and theme are still in progress but will be shared soon.

Clothing with the event logo will be available.
